As part of the focus on the career-cycle of a Pharmacy Technician, we are excited to offer an enhanced training/certification concept.
The goal of the 4th level - Platinum Level Pharmacy Technician Training is to motivate and provide advanced skills to these integral members of your Pharmacy Team. You can look forward to the return of a highly motivated individual who will share their learnings with the rest of your team.
Careful consideration has been given to the agenda with a focus on building customer relationships, MMS and key pharmacy services initiatives. Exciting speakers and vendors will be present to deliver a dynamic learning experience for your chosen Technicians.
To attend this exciting training opportunity, Technicians must have completed the prior three Levels of training – Bronze, Silver and Gold, as prerequisites. Seat availability per store is based on the following:
< 200 scripts/day

- Silver - Advanced Pharmacy Tech Web-Based Training
- Gold - Pharmacy Technician Correspondence School
- Platinum - Classroom delivery available across Canada

- One Technician
- The recommendation is to send one Sr. Technician
- Two Technicians
- The recommendation is to send one Jr. Technician and one Sr. Technician
- The Jr. Technician –From succession planning, it will allow you to build bench strength in your Technicians and help to ensure you have a strong backfill option.
- The Sr. Technician - who is already fully efficient in their role, can take back valuable information and train the remaining Technicians at the store.
